Tune2Learn started offering our services to clients in Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne, New Zealand in 2018 and is a pioneer in children’s developmental therapy in the area. Our therapies have been effective in strengthening the foundational skills of children with learning difficulties, including balance, dominance, and sensory integration.
Our programmes are effective because they are designed to meet an individual’s needs and make permanent changes connecting the body and the brain.

We are owned and headed by Jan Ward-Allen. She has spent the last 10 years studying therapies for children with learning difficulties. In addition, she is an Extra Lesson® therapist and a level 2 licensed Tomatis® therapist.

The Tomatis® Method and Extra Lesson®
We utilise the Tomatis® method as well as Extra Lesson® in our therapies. The Tomatis® method is a sensorineural auditory stimulation program that was developed by Dr. Alfred Tomatis.
It has been around for more than 60 years and has changed the lives of thousands world-wide. The Extra Lesson® is a developmental approach developed by Audrey McAllen. Both programmes are linked to research in neuroscience.
